Welcome to the Cornwall and Isles of Scilly safeguarding adults webpages.

These pages provide a range of information on safeguarding adults.  To assist you with your search the safeguarding adults information has been split into two areas, one for the public and one for professionals.

There are no access restrictions for either option so if you are a member of the public you can still access the professional information and if you are a professional you can see what is available in the public option.

Working in partnership to raise awareness of adult abuse

Young and old get together to 'say no to abuse'

SNTA Project all logos large

The say no to abuse leaflet which gives advice for vulnerable adults at risk of abuse and neglect has been relaunched following a unique partnership between young and old people in Truro.

Residents at Truro Foyer, a supported housing scheme for young people, and Vivian Court, a sheltered housing scheme also in the town, worked together on a project to produce some new photographs for the leaflet. Together, they decided on and posed for scenes to illustrate different types of abuse.
