Driving safer for longer
Cornwall Council road safety is able to offer groups of older
drivers free workshops as part of the Driving
Safer for Longer initiative. These take the form of presentations
and discussions to assist you in continuing to enjoy
Following the success of our previous workshops around the
county, we are now planning some new venues. If you or someone you
know would be interested in a Driving Safer for Longer workshop in
your area, or for a particular group (such as Women's Institute or
the University of the 3rd Age) then please contact the Road Safety
using the contact information on the right hand side.
All of the workshops are completely free of charge and you can
simply turn up on the day.

Work Related Road Safety
Work Related Road Safety does not just apply to those people who
drive as part of their job, but also everyone that manages drivers.
On average, 65% of all company vehicles will be involved in a
collision over the next 12 months according to the
