A planning application and listed building consent have been submitted to the council for works to Penzance Harbour. This page offers the facility to view the plans and supporting information online.

The planning application reference 09-1118-P is for the construction of a new sea wall (above reclaimed level) at South Pier.

The listed building consent reference 09-1119-LBC has been withdrawn and a new listed building consent application 10-0095-LBC has been received for extensions and alterations including demolition and making good 2 sections of listed sea wall to provide pedestrian and vehicular access, extension to Lighthouse Pier, creation of new sea wall and retaining wall to South Pier, placing of infill material for reclaimed land and rock armouring abutting the listed sea wall, demolition of toilet block and erection of new security gates and fencing at South Pier and Lighthouse Pier.
