The events are now managed by Carrick Leisure following
the recent transfer of the Cornwall Council Leisure Services
Department to the Carrick Leisure Trust.
All of the triathlons on this page are now part of the
brand new 2012 Cornwall Triathlon Series. Details about the
Series and how to enter Series events are available on the
Triathlon
Series page.

An Res Hellys
The An Res Hellys is a 10 mile multi-terrain run near
Helston.
This year's event took place on 25 March 2012, with a
total of 462 entrants.

Cornwall Tor Cyclosportive
The Cornwall Tor is organised by Kilotogo and Carrick Leisure in
partnership. This year's Cornwall Tor takes
place on Sunday 29 April 2012. To enter and for more

Liskeard Triathlon
Brand new for 2012 the Liskeard Triathlon is a sprint distance
triathlon with a pool swim based at Lux Park Leisure Centre.
It will take place on May 13th 2012.

The next Helston Triathlon will take place on 27 May 2012 at

5K Sand and Sweat
This brand new race follows the low tide line of Newquay's
spectacular beaches with a short sea wade and then a short road run
to finish at Newquay Sports Centre. Please see the links

Falmouth Triathlon
Another brand new triathlon for 2012. Based at Gyllyngvase
beach this is a sprint distance triathlon with an open water sea
swim. It will take place on 17th June 2012.

The Big Cornwall Swim
This year's Big Cornwall Swim takes place on Sunday 8 July
2012 at Stithians Lake. For previous results please see the

Stithians Lake Open Water Triathlon
A brand new standard distance triathlon for 2012 with a lake
based flat water swim. This event takes place on 22 July
2012.

Lands End 100
This is a brand new cyclosportive starting and finishing in St
Ives. After a successful first year it will be taking
place this year on 14 October 2012. Please see the

Redruth Mini Triathlon for Children
Carrick Leisure's only children's triathlon took place on
Saturday 10th September with the wind and rain making some tough
conditions. The proposed date for this year's
event is 22 September 2012 however it is still to be
confirmed.
Congratulations to all those who took part last year and
thank you to all the marshals who helped out.
