Interactive mapping
On this interactive mapping website you can view maps and
overlay the locations of schools, libraries, waste recycling
centres, salting routes, safety cameras and many other layers
throughout Cornwall. You can find the area that you are interested
in by entering a place i.e. towns and villages, street or
postcode.

Other Cornwall Council mapping websites
These websites have been designed to show specific information.
They are slower than the mapping website above and can
take up to a couple of minutes to load on a dial-up
connection.
Public Rights of Way
and Cycle Routes - this website shows the locations of
footpaths, bridleways and byways as well as cycle routes in
Cornwall.
Japanese
Knotweed - this website shows the locations of areas of
Japanese knotweed that have been recorded by Cornwall Council. You
can use this website to report new sites where you have seen this
invasive plant growing.
Access 2 Monuments
– this website is an online guide to accessible monuments in
Cornwall compiled by the Historic Environment Service of Cornwall
Council. It is aimed at all those with an interest in the
countryside who wish to experience for themselves the wealth of
Cornwall's remarkable heritage of sites and monuments.
Browsers
The mapping websites are designed to work with the most
common browsers. All features work in recent versions
of Internet Explorer, Firefox and Google Chrome.
We are aware of a problem with Opera. If you use Opera as
your web browser and you have a mouse with a wheel, then clicking
the wheel in the map window stops the mapping website from
working. If this happens you will need to refresh the
page.
We are currently testing other browsers.
If you are having problems using a specific browser, please
contact the Cornwall Council Geographic Information Services (GIS)
team at gis@cornwall.gov.uk.
Scheduled maintenance
Please note that the mapping is unavailable every morning
between 6:05 and 6:12 while routine maintenance tasks and updates
take place.
Mobile devices
We are currently unable to support the mapping on mobile devices
such as iPhones, Android phones or tablets, but we are
investigating the issues and hope to have it working soon.
Accessibility
Cornwall Council strives to meet the needs of computer
users with visual impairment or other conditions that limit
accessibility. Due to the graphic-intensive nature of these
interactive mapping websites, these maps of Cornwall cannot be
presented in an accessible format. If you would like assistance
with this please contact the Cornwall Council Geographic
Information Services (GIS) team at gis@cornwall.gov.uk.
Ordnance Survey
The maps used in these websites are published under our
agreement with Ordnance Survey. Official Ordnance Survey
detailed large-scale plans for anywhere in Cornwall and the whole
of Great Britain are available to purchase from Bude, Penryn,
St Ives and Truro libraries. Please telephone 0800 0322345
for details of how to make an appointment for this service.
