Conservation Officers provide specialist advice to the Planning Service on heritage matters; all pre-application or ongoing application enquiries, including whether consent is required, should be directed through the normal planning enquiry routes, either Planning Case Officer,  Duty Planning Officer or householder enquiries procedures.
