Changes to current swimming pool timetable
Monday nights - leisure swim session starts at 6.30pm and not
6pm as advertised on leafet.
We apologise for any inconveninced caused.
Dragon Centre details
It is an ideal location for holding events and conferences due
to its location near the A30 and main line railway station at
Bodmin Parkway. The Dragon incorporates first class indoor
tennis courts - the first to be built in Cornwall. It has
plenty of free parking and is disabled friendly. Apart from
our normal range of leisure activities we can also host special
events like short mat bowls and exhibitions.

General information about the Dragon Leisure
Centre
25 metre heated indoor pool
This six-lane pool is of the highest standard and includes a
flume, learner pool and spectator facilities.
Tennis courts
Some of the best tennis facilities in the county whether you
want coaching or casual play. We work closely with the Lawn
Tennis Association and have built up a tennis development
partnership which is second to none. Coaching available for
all ages and abilities. There also floodlit outdoor tennis
courts for hire. Our indoor courts have been relaid with a
high performance acrylic surface and are now open.
Squash courts
Two competition glass back squash courts with viewing balconies
for club or casual play.
'Shapes' health suite
Release those tensions with a relaxing sauna, steam bath and
Jacuzzi!
'Shapes' fitness studio
State of the art friendly fitness centre with the latest easy to
use cardio vascular and resistance equipment for all levels of
fitness. This facility has a number of payment options from
single sessions to user cards and direct debits.
'Shapes' free weights room
Room dedicated to those who wish to train with barbells and
dumbbells, including 'walk-in' squat
rack/bench frame and 'Smith' safety frame.
All weather/grass pitches
The brand new synthetic turf football/hockey pitch for all
weather play plus a grass pitch available for club and private
hire.
Cafeteria/bar
Delicious hot and cold food with many healthy options and daily
chefs specials
Please note times may vary due to special events and bank
holidays.
Conference rooms
Pleasant conference facility overlooking beautiful scenery with
audio and visual aids provided.
