Standards Committee Information
The Committee consists of 29 Members - 9 elected Members of Cornwall Council, 10 independent non-elected members and 10 parish/town and city council representatives. The Independent non-elected members and parish/town and city council representatives sit on the Committee as co-opted non-voting members.
The Committee is responsible to the Council for promoting and maintaining high standards of conduct by Members and co-opted members of the Council. It advises the Council on the adoption, revision and promotion of the Members’ Code of Conduct and the procedures associated with the Code.

Local Government Ombudsman - Report
