Made in Cornwall Christmas Fair returns to Truro this evening
The Made in Cornwall Christmas fair will once again be showcasing many of our talented artists and crafts people providing Christmas shoppers with the chance to buy local products at great value prices. This impressive selection of Cornish crafts and food will be on display in Truro this evening when the Piazza plays host to the annual Christmas ‘Made in Cornwall’ fair.
“If you’re having problems organising Christmas and are still looking for something that little bit different for your friends and family, then look no further than the Made in Cornwall Christmas Fair”, explained Liz Rickard from the Made in Cornwall Scheme. “There is something at the fair to suit all pockets - the only trouble you might have is choosing from the wonderful selection of goodies on offer.”
Come and try the special Christmas cake products produced by Baking Bird. “We produce a range of 17 flavours on top of our 6 Christmas flavours so our stall will look a riot of colour! This will be our first Made in Cornwall fair and we are very excited about being there”, said Selena Govier from Backing Bird .
Carin Lindberg from Camali Design will also be exhibiting. She says: “My most unusual product is my car paint and silver necklace! This is something most people haven’t seen before, in fact I haven’t met anyone yet that knew what this was when I showed it to them. And it makes you smile too! I won 1st prize in the Guild of Jewellery Designers Mixed Media competition last month, with this piece.”
The Fair will be open from 10.00am to 9.00pm on Wednesday, 28 November to incorporate the late night shopping evening, and from 10.00am to 5.00pm from Thursday through to Saturday.
Admission is free.
