Online catalogues

Please note: Cornwall Record Office will close permanently from 1 May 2018 and the Cornish Studies Library will close from 10 September 2018. Both services will reopen as Kresen Kernow in December 2018. Further information is available on our Kresen Kernow project page or please contact us for more information. Although, personal visits to view the collections will not be possible during the closure periods, some of our enquiries, reprographics and research services will still operate, depending on collection availability.

To help you locate the records and books that are of interest to you, catalogues containing descriptions of the items that we hold are available to search for free online.

If you have not used our archive catalogues before, please use the help pages to get you started or the Online Catalogues Guide. There are currently no images of the documents available, but the individual catalogue entries contain detailed descriptions of most of the items in our collections and some even include a transcription of the document (for an example see The Poor Law Project #2). For details of how to order copies of documents please see the Enquiry and copy services pages.
