Public Sector Equality Duty Compliance

Publishing Equality Information and setting Equality Objectives is part of Cornwall Council’s compliance with the Equality Act (2010) and the Council’s demonstration of meeting the Public Sector Equality Duty.

Cornwall Council has published its Equality Information since 31 January 2012.

The Council has published four Equality Objectives and has added progress to each Objective.

The responsibility for monitoring progress will lie with Cornwall Council’s Corporate Equality Steering Group.

Cornwall’s Equality and Diversity Voluntary Sector Group will oversee and monitor the progress against Cornwall’s Equality Objectives.
