Emergency Buildings

Emergency Management hold a database of over 400 buildings which can be opened up and used in an emergency e.g. to be used as a shelter or a rest centre when people are evacuated from their homes. These include community centres, village and church halls and leisure centres. We hold details on each of these buildings such as kitchen facilities, disabled facilities, washing facilities, key holder details, building capacity and whether there is an area suitable for sleeping.
