Community Safety and Localism

Cornwall Fire, Rescue and Community Safety deliver services to address priority areas such as domestic abuse and sexual violence and alcohol related harm. In addition we recognise key focus areas including alcohol and drug-related harm and promoting recovery, anti-social behaviour and reoffending. We also have statutory responsibilities including preventing violent extremism, tackling serious and organised crime and road safety and fire prevention.

We deliver the Council’s localism function, ensuring that we work with partners to make Cornwall safer, through the targeted delivery of services to people and places most at risk.
