Current Contracts

Details of Cornwall Council's current contracts can be found by filtering on Cornwall Council on the South West Portal - Contract Register.

The easiest place to search for current tender opportunities is Contracts Finder.

Depending on the total value of each contract the Council advertise opportunities in three different places:

The Council actively encourage potential suppliers to register on both Supplying the South West and Contracts Finder. Both portals are free to register for and will send you email notifications when relevant contract opportunities arise. Guidance on how to register on Supplying the South West can be found on the E-tendering and Contract Management page.

Commercial Tendering Forward Plan

Cornwall Council’s Forward Plan of potential upcoming tendering opportunities was first published in October 2016 and is updated on a six monthly basis - the latest version was reviewed in July 2017.

If you would like more details around any particular project please contact commercialservices@cornwall.gov.uk.

Category Plans and Market Position Statements

The Council is in the process of drafting a series of Category Plans which will give an analysis of individual sectors, the contracts that we currently manage in those sectors and will help us to carry out effective procurement in future. It is our intention to publish Market Position Statements as a public facing version of these documents. Once published this will be available on the our Commercial Services Team page against the relevant Supply Chain Specialist.

Procurement of Consultancy Services

Cornwall Council has entered into a contract with Bloom (formerly known as NEPRO) to act as a neutral vendor (like a broker) for the purchasing of consultancy services. This is to enable the Council to have an effective and efficient means of engaging suppliers in line with business need. Further information is available on the "How we buy consultancy" page.
