How to get there

Penmount Crematorium is situated on the A39 Truro to Newquay road two miles north of the city of Truro. It is served by major roads and is easily accessible from any direction in the County. A bus service (Truro to Newquay) passes the entrance and visitors using this service should alight at Penmount Lodge.

The Gardens, Book of Remembrance Room and Columbarium are open to the public daily at the following times:

Summer months:

  • Weekdays 8.30 a.m. to 6.00 p.m
  • Including Sundays/Bank Holidays

Winter months:

  • Weekdays 8.30 a.m. to dusk
  • Including Sunday/Bank Holidays

Toilet facilities, including disabled toilets and baby change unit, can be found behind the flower room at the rear of the main building. Toilets can also be found on entering the Trelawny Chapel on the right hand side.
