  • Please note that all fees are liable to increase periodically.
  • All marriage and civil partnership fees include the cost of one certificate. Additional certificates can be purchased. If certificates are pre-paid or purchased on the day the cost is £4.00. However, after the event the certificates will cost more.
  • **Attendance at a registered building i.e. chapel (not CofE) Fee does not include a certificate.
  • A double ceremony at an AV will be charged at 1.5 times the full fee (ie 1st at full price and 2nd at half price).  This will not apply to Register Office Ceremonies where the standard fee applies to both couples.
  • Please note a non-refundable deposit will be taken at the time of booking your ceremony. This will be charged at £20.00 per classic ceremony and £50.00 per distinctive, approved venue, naming, renewal or citizenship ceremony.
  • Fees denoted with an asterist are set by central government and reviewed periodically but are not reviewed automatically on an annual basis or at other set times.

Standard ceremony (group ceremonies with other citizens) fees are part of the fee paid to the Home Office. No extra fee is charged.
