How to purchase longer term tickets and permits
To apply for a parking permit please see car park tickets and
permits options which provides a simple guide on the
majority of available parking options, from hourly through to
12 month permits.
Please
note that hourly and daily tickets can be readily purchased at the
parking meter and don't have to be bought through the Parking
Permit team or One Stop Shops. It is also possible to
purchase weekly tickets (specific to one car park only)
at many of our Pay and Display machines. There are
however some machines where this facility is not possilbe,
so if you wish to purchase one please check its
availability first. This can be done by clicking on

Season tickets
If you use a long stay car park frequently you can make great
financial savings by purchasing a season ticket - pay one fee and
you can choose up to four car parks across the county in which you

Rover tickets
A rover ticket allows you to use a lot of different long stay
car parks across the county. There is an option of purchasing a
weekly rover ticket, which may be beneficial if you are
visiting the county and going to different areas. Please view more

New Permits
Parking Permits team:
Due to the wide range of parking permits available, it is
necessary for stock control purposes to issue permits from one
central office. You can contact the team through the email address/
number on this page or by filling out the Parking Permit
enquiry form. The team can offer you advice on the
best purchase option for you, answer specific enquiries and begin
the process of issuing you with a permit.
Please note that if you are purchasing a long term permit for
the first time you will need to make alternatives arrangements for
parking until the permit is received via post. The Parking permits
you receive in these circumstances will be dated from the date of
issue not the payment date.
One Stop Shop:
The staff can sell and issue you with a Countywide weekly Rover
tickets so that you can start to use it straight away.
For all other duration tickets e.g
Season tickets you can visit a One
Stop Shop and the staff will be able to assist you start
off the purchasing process and can also complete payments. You will
however not be given your ticket that day. The
member of staff may complete an electronic form taking all your
details necessary or connect you by telephone direct to the Parking
Permits team.
All forms of payment can be accepted at the One Stop Shops
although card payments are preferred.
For existing permits you can contact the Parking Permits
team direct through the email address/phone number on this page or
by filling out the Parking Permit enquiry form. Only card and
cheque payments are possible using this method. Please note
that the permit will have to be posted, and you need to allow
time for it to reach you.
If you're unsure and need more details of what's available or if
you have a query about an existing permit please fill out the
Parking
Permit enquiry form, indicating where you'd like to park or
your question, and a member of the permit team will contact you to
discuss your needs.
Please note you must allow up to ten days for the purchase of
your permit to be processed. If your previous ticker or
permit has expired it is your responsibility to ensure you have a
valid ticket for the car park you wish to use. It is not possible
to prevent enforcement on a vehicle for which you are awaiting a
ticket permit for.
One Stop Shop:
If you are seeking to renew an existing long term permit you can
arrange to do so and make payment through the One Stop Shop. This
however will have to be processed by the Parking Permits team and
will therefore be sent to you by post. Please remember that
you will need to make arrangements to do so before your existing
permit expires. Processing the permit can take up to ten days.
