Sennen at low tide

Description: Beach situated in the west of Cornwall close to Lands End. A long, sandy beach, with small fishing harbour and lifeboat station. First-class surfing conditions and safe bathing within the flagged areas. Pay special attention to this area as the flags can be changed and moved frequently due to tidal movements. 

Amenities: Car parks at each end of the bay. Restaurant and cafe facilities on the beach. Toilets in main car park overlooking beach. Blue Flag Award 2010.

Dogs: Dog ban in place from 1st May - 30th September, 8am-7pm.  

Lifeguard service: Lifeguards on this beach 1st May - 26th September 2010 and over Easter from 2nd - 5th April 2010.

Beach ownership: Cornwall Council owned but leased to a private individual.
